Errors
All API errors use standard HTTP status codes with a JSON body:
{ "detail": "stream 'eth-5m' not in your plan" }
| Code | Meaning | Fix |
|---|---|---|
401 | Missing or invalid API key | Send the X-Api-Key header with a valid key from your dashboard |
402 | Key works, but no active plan | Choose a plan |
403 | Stream or time range outside your plan | Check /v1/coverage; upgrade if you need more streams or history |
404 | No such window | Take window_start from /v1/windows for that date |
429 | Rate limit reached | Wait a minute, or use /v1/windows.csv for bulk work |
5xx | Server error | Retry after a few seconds; if it persists, reach out |
Reading 403s
